All right, all right, so I’m a sucker for memes.

But this one’s different, I swear! It’s time for the third annual One World, One Heart event, the brainchild of Lisa Swifka to make the worldwide blogging community feel just a little bit smaller and a little bit friendlier. This is an opportunity to meet people from around the globe (artists, photographers, writers and more) to see their lovely expressions of creativity and not only that, to possibly win cool stuff!

You can read more about the event and find other participants here (last time I checked the list was over 600), but here’s the lo down. Leave a comment on this entry by midnight, February 11th and on February 12th I will select a random winner to receive my contribution to this bloggy love-fest.

And what might that contribution be you ask? Well, I’ve been working on it non-stop since last week when I first read about the event. I call it a chicken wire purse, but it’s much cooler than it sounds so scroll on down for photos. It’s just large enough to hold an iphone/ipod/mobile device, credit card/money and your favorite lip gloss. I’ve only ever made these for family and loved ones and precious few at that as they are quite labor intensive! Each is a one-of-a-kind piece.

You don’t have to have a blog to play but you do have to leave me some way of contacting you in case you’re the lucky winner. If you want your name to be entered into the drawing twice, then tell me one way that you practice having compassion for yourself. I hear self love is the new black.
